Welcome to Soundflik. By creating an artist account, uploading music, or using our artist services, you agree to the following terms.
1. Ownership of Content
Artists retain full ownership of the music, artwork, videos, and other content they upload to Soundflik. By uploading content, you confirm that:
- You are the rightful owner of the content, or
- You have obtained all necessary rights, licenses, and permissions to upload and distribute it.
You are solely responsible for the content you publish.
2. License to Soundflik
By uploading content to Soundflik, you grant Soundflik a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to:
- Host your content on the platform.
- Display your content to users.
- Stream or make your content available for download if you choose to enable downloads.
- Promote your content through Soundflik's website, mobile applications, and official social media channels.
This license remains in effect until your content is removed from the platform.
3. Copyright Compliance
Artists must not upload content that infringes on another person's copyright, trademark, or intellectual property rights.
If Soundflik receives a valid copyright complaint, we may remove the content immediately and take appropriate action against the account involved.
4. Artist Responsibilities
As an artist, you agree to:
- Provide accurate profile information.
- Upload only original or properly licensed content.
- Respect other users and comply with all applicable laws.
- Keep your account secure and confidential.
5. Donations and Earnings
Eligible artists may receive donations from fans through Soundflik.
Artists are responsible for:
- Providing accurate payment information.
- Paying any applicable taxes required by their local laws.
- Complying with Soundflik's withdrawal policies and verification requirements.
Soundflik may deduct applicable processing fees or service charges before completing withdrawals, where applicable.
6. Prohibited Activities
Artists may not:
- Upload copyrighted material without permission.
- Impersonate another artist or person.
- Upload malicious software or harmful files.
- Use bots, fake accounts, or artificial methods to inflate streams, downloads, donations, or engagement.
- Publish content that is illegal, hateful, defamatory, or sexually explicit.
7. Account Suspension
Soundflik may suspend or permanently terminate an artist account if it violates this Agreement or any applicable platform policies.
8. Content Removal
Artists may delete their own content at any time. Soundflik also reserves the right to remove content that violates our policies or applicable laws.
9. Changes to This Agreement
Soundflik may update this Artist Agreement from time to time. Continued use of the platform after updates means you accept the revised terms.
